Melenie’s career has brought her many accolades including the Melbourne Fringe Festival ‘Dance and movement award and the Victorian Musical Theatre Guild choreography award.

Matthew Thomson winner of many choreographic awards delves into the architecture, playfulness and athleticism of dance paraded to Philips Glass’s wonderfully evocative composition ‘String Quartet Number 5’.

Matthew Tusa our International Choreographer from Wiesbaden Germany who trained at the National Theatre Ballet School is creating a sensational work representing everything new and now.

The evening’s final work – showcases the NTB dancers in Jazz Tap and Contemporary.

‘Evoking Memories’ Choreographed by Alicia Frias Garcia – Jacquelyn McCarthy and Kim Soden Taylor tells a story of a young girl recalling memories of her life by delving in to her private Treasure Chest and finding lifelong cherished possessions.

The  National Theatre Ballet presents their spectacular  production of The NUTCRACKER at The National Theatre, St. Kilda.

The National Theatre Ballet’s ‘The Nutcracker’ choreographed and directed by Artistic Director Beverly Jane Fry. This beautiful ballet   production has performed to many sold-out seasons with audiences marvelling at the sheer splendour and magnificence before them that each new scene revealed.  Audiences were spellbound by the 4 metre Christmas tree shimmering like diamonds – the penguins playing on their sleighs – the owls appearing suddenly out of nowhere and the beautiful Snow Queen and Snow Fairies dancing while snow gently cascaded down around them.

There is no other NUTCRACKER quite like the National Theatre Ballet’s production and Christmas just isn’t Christmas without – The World’s Favourite Christmas Ballet.

Don’t miss this stunningly beautiful production.
